Causes of the Climate Change and Extreme Weather

Definition of climate change

In general, "weather" refers to the atmospheric conditions such as temperature, wind, and rain that we experience every day, and "climate" is an average of the weather in an area for decades. The climate varies from place to place and also from time to time because it depends on latitude, distance from the sea, presence of plants, mountains, or other geographical factors. Climate change occurs either directly or indirectly due to human activities that change the atmospheric composition of the Earth.

Artificial Causes

Human activities, especially fossil fuel combustion and biological combustion in factories and homes, increase greenhouse gases by producing aerosols that affect atmospheric components. In addition, the release of carbon chloride (freon gas), other fluorine compounds, and bromine composites affect radiative forcing, reduces the ozone layer in the stratosphere, and changes in land use due to urbanization, excessive land development, or forest collection affect the physical and biological properties of the Earth's surface.

Natural Causes

Climate change is caused not only by external changes but also by changes in climate system elements and interactions between them. The climate system can change naturally without external factors. This is because the five main components of the climate system (temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind speed, daytime length) and the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, and biosphere interact with each other to constantly change.
